Rare Gerundino Fernández flamenco Negra guitar from Spain, 1970. The models from this period are among the most sought-after ones. We know the guitar is from this period because of the builders' stamp which is not at the back of the headstock but within the guitar itself. Also, the plantella (body shape) of the guitar is more slender than later models.
On this guitar you can find a Golpeador pickguard and Waverly Irving Sloane tuning mechanics.
Back and sides are made of Indian Rosewood.
The top had three cracks, but these are professionally repaired and polished/varnished.
A real collectors item ! Highly in demand but not often seen, especially from Gerundino's greatest years.
