Marble Max Guitar Amp Model 2200G - 10W
The small, but very powerful 1x10 MAX amplifier comes with a V3 Power tube (6V6GT) and a V3 Rectifier tube (5U4GB).
The V3 rectifies AC current from the power transformer into DC current to run the Amp. In doing so, a tube rectifier causes the power amp to drop in power output when larger currents are demanded. This enables the amp to react on the most subtle way of playing and distort more musically.
The volume is a push-pull knob that, when enacted, boosts the tone section that increases gain and adds a mid-boost effect. This function is very effective with single coil guitars.
The tone control is actually a mixer that allows middle and bass frequencies to pass to the next stage in lower settings (0-6) and allows treble frequencies to pass in higher settings (7-12)
The line out of the Max can be used to bi-amp the signal through the low input of another tube amp or to connect the max to any P.A. system.
